Functional Principle

The flow switch comprises a paddle system with a permanent magnet at its upper end. A reed contact is positioned above this magnet, isolated from the flow stream. A second magnet provides the restoring force. When the target flow rate is reached, the fluid deflects the paddle, moving the magnet relative to the reed contact and actuating it. When flow drops, the repelling force of the two magnets returns the paddle to its resting position, resetting the reed contact. This all-magnetic design ensures fatigue-free, maintenance-free operation.
