The Comeco PSF50 is a reliable and cost-effective insertion paddle flow switch designed for flow/no-flow detection of low-contaminated non-sticky liquids in industrial applications. Its simple and proven design ensures long service life and low maintenance requirements, making it ideal for standard flow signaling tasks.

The PSF50 operates on a paddle-operated magnet reed switch principle. As liquid flows through the pipe, it pushes the paddle, which rotates a permanent magnet inside the unit. This magnet activates the reed switch located outside the process medium, providing a contactless and leak-proof output signal. The flow set point is easily adjusted by cutting the paddle to the appropriate length, allowing for precise customization to specific application requirements.

The flow switch is suitable for installation in pipes ranging from 1 inch to 3 inches in diameter. It features 304 stainless steel wetted parts, making it compatible with a wide range of liquids including water, coolant, and lubricants. The unit operates reliably at temperatures from -30°C to 140°C and pressures up to 25 bar, covering most industrial process conditions.

The PSF50 is available with standard G1" or 1" NPT process connections. The standard aluminum housing provides IP65 protection against dust and water ingress, while an optional IP68 housing is available for more demanding environments. Typical applications include cooling system monitoring, pump protection, and liquid circulation control in manufacturing, food and beverage, and chemical industries.
