The compact Raytek Thermalert GP infrared temperature sensor is designed to be paired with the Raytek Thermalert GP Monitor to form a versatile, two-piece temperature monitoring system that combines a compact, value-priced monitor with a rugged, accurate infrared sensing head. The sensor targets temperatures from -18 to 540°C (0-1000°F) with 1% accuracy and has a spectral response of 8-14 microns. Emissivity is adjustable from 0.1 to 1.09 in increments of 0.01. The sensor is available without laser sighting (GPR Series) or with an integrated coaxial Class 2 laser connected to the remote activation switch box via the included 4 m (13 ft) cable (GPS Series). Both models are available with an optional close focus sensing head. For extreme environments, an optional air/water cooled housing with air purge collar is also available .
