Product Description

What processing capability does the MPS1202 deliver?

The MPS1202 combines the RFM3202 dual-channel microwave transceiver (2–18 GHz, 2 GHz IBW per channel) with the DCM3220 digital transceiver (two 12-bit 6.4 GSPS ADCs and DACs) and the LDS3517 single-board computer (8-core Intel Xeon D, 16 GB DDR4). The Xilinx UltraScale+ FPGA provides 7,488 DSP slices for real-time spectrum analysis, while the integrated 400W power supply and OpenVPX backplane accept additional 3U VPX modules for mission-specific expansion.

How is the MPS1202 deployed in the field?

The subsystem is conduction-cooled via a cold plate base, with full environmental sealing for −40°C to +85°C operation. At under 20 lbs and approximately 7″ × 6″ × 7.6″, it fits tactical vehicles, airborne pods, and shipboard installations. Built on Mercury's Rappid open spectrum processing platform with application-ready VITA 49-compliant middleware, the MPS1202 reduces EW application development time while meeting AS9100D manufacturing standards.
