What control outputs are available?

The main control output is selectable from three types:

• Relay — electromechanical contact output for contactors, solenoid valves, and direct heater switching
• SSR drive — pulsed DC output (typically 12 VDC / 30 mA) for driving external solid-state relays, enabling fast-cycle switching without contact wear
• SCR — phase-angle or burst-fire output for resistive heating loads requiring smooth power modulation

An optional heating/cooling dual-mode is available — a secondary output drives a cooling fan or chilled-water valve while the primary output controls heating.

How does the timer function work?

The built-in timer supports two activation modes: start timing immediately on power-up, or start timing only when the process value (PV) reaches the setpoint (SV). This turns the TM-2000 into a combined temperature controller and process timer, eliminating the need for a separate timing relay in soak-time applications.
