The KTC828A accepts input from LX series load cells for direct tension measurement, floating roller potentiometers for indirect detection via dancer arm, and ultrasonic sensors. It provides selectable DC 5V or 9V excitation for tension sensors and supports both single and dual-sensor configurations with differential or strain gauge signal types.

How does the dual-output system work?

Two independent DC 0-24V/4A channels drive magnetic powder clutches and brakes directly. An auxiliary 0-10V or 4-20mA analog output is also available for controlling inverters or servo drives. The controller supports dual-station switching with automatic acceleration and deceleration compensation for continuous unwinding and rewinding applications.
