C3 + IOP-2 — the pragmatic 200 kW combination

For a 200 kW pump or fan drive fed from a dedicated transformer — the standard topology in water and wastewater pumping stations — C3 EMC is technically appropriate and cost-effective. The IOP-2 adds a graphical operator panel at the drive for commissioning and fault diagnosis. During a 3 a.m. call-out, the maintenance electrician can read the fault code and description directly on the IOP-2 display without walking to the control room or connecting a laptop. That capability does not replace the SCADA — it supplements it for the person standing at the drive.

Standard coating — indoor environments only

The 0CB0's standard (non-3C3) coating is specified for indoor electrical rooms with controlled atmospheres. The IP20 enclosure rating already limits the drive to clean, dry, indoor installations — adding 3C3 coating would protect against corrosive gases that should not be present in a properly maintained electrical room.
