To further improve the accuracy of pressure-derived calculated values, an optional external pressure transducer can provide real-time pressure compensation for these parameters, allowing continued measurement stability even during sample pressure fluctuations.

The remote sensor design allows the open cell sensor to be placed directly into the environment to be monitored. For more challenging applications where direct insertion is not possible, the sensor can be mounted in a sample block and included in a sampling system. The instrument offers two sensor options: a 2-stage sensor covering -40 to 90°C dew point and a high-temperature sensor covering -40 to 120°C dew point, with a gold-plated copper mirror.

The choice of communication methods allows straightforward connection to DCS, PLC, or datalogger. PC-based application software enables remote control of all instrument functionality and the ability to graph and log parameters directly to the host PC. A high-contrast touch screen LCD display provides customizable local indication of measured values, a trend graph, and fault warnings. The built-in logging system logs instrument parameters at operator-specified intervals directly onto an SD memory card for easy transfer to a PC for analysis or correlation with test results .
