Product Description
The POK Quadripok is a 4-way manual ball valve water divider designed and manufactured in France by POK, a specialist in firefighting and industrial fluid distribution equipment. Unlike a conventional multi-port valve where a single plug or ball routes flow, the Quadripok uses four independent 1/4-turn ball valves fed from a common inlet manifold — each outlet can be opened or closed individually without affecting the others. This architecture provides positive shut-off on each branch and allows simultaneous operation of multiple discharge lines at full flow.

What makes the Quadripok different from a conventional 4-way ball valve?
A conventional 4-way ball valve rotates a single ported ball to connect one inlet to one of multiple outlets — it diverts, but only one outlet is active at a time. The Quadripok splits the inlet flow to four parallel ball valves, each with its own 1/4-turn lever. The operator can run one, two, three, or all four outlets simultaneously at full flow, or shut off individual branches independently. The full-size waterway through the manifold and each ball valve minimises pressure drop — important in firefighting where pump discharge pressure is a fixed resource. A pressure gauge mounted on the inlet manifold provides real-time system pressure monitoring at the point of division.
What connection standards are supported?
POK manufactures the Quadripok with the major international fire-hose and industrial coupling standards: BSP threaded (male and female), NST-NH (NFPA 1963, US fire service thread), GOST (Russian standard), DIN (German standard), and Storz symmetrical quick-connect couplings. This multi-standard coverage means the same Quadripok architecture can be specified for fire brigades, industrial fire water systems, irrigation networks, and construction site dewatering across different regional connection standards. Large models (Ref. 27048 and 37055, exceeding 70 kg) are supplied with a transport trolley for maneuverability on site. An optional torque reducer on the ball valve levers enables progressive opening to avoid water hammer shock in long hose lay-flat discharge lines.
