Product Description
The AOIP ADT783 is an automated pneumatic pressure controller for high-precision calibration and production testing. It accommodates two removable internal pressure modules — field-swappable in under 30 seconds — supporting gauge, absolute, and differential measurement across a combined range from vacuum to 420 bar. The modular design allows a single controller to cover multiple pressure ranges without external hardware changes.
Modular Pressure Module System
Each ADT783 holds two internal ADT151 series pressure modules, selectable between four models: ADT783-D (differential, up to 2.5 bar), ADT783-1K (up to 70 bar), ADT783-3.6K (up to 250 bar), and ADT783-6K (up to 420 bar). Modules can be swapped in the field without returning the unit for service. An optional barometric reference module enables automatic gauge-to-absolute switching. Dual-range calibration on each module extends the usable span without additional modules.
Control Performance
The ADT783 achieves control stability below 0.003% FS — typically 0.001% FS — with a response time under 10 seconds and maximum overshoot below 1% FS. Three control modes (Fast, Standard, Custom) optimise the balance between speed and precision for different test profiles. The controller drives up to 1,000 mL load volume, suitable for testing multiple devices under test (DUTs) in parallel.
Connectivity and Automation
With Ethernet, WiFi, USB, RS232, and LAN interfaces, the ADT783 integrates directly into automated calibration workstations. The 7-inch colour touch screen provides intuitive local control, while the built-in test routines — pressure switch test, leak test, pressure safety valve test, and multi-automatic sequences — reduce operator workload. An emulation mode enables drop-in replacement for legacy pressure controllers in existing test systems.
