The DH-Budenberg CPB3800 is a compact hydraulic deadweight tester with 0.025% of reading accuracy, ideally suited for on-site field calibration as well as service and maintenance of pressure transmitters and mechanical gauges. With integrated hydraulic pressure generation and a purely mechanical measuring principle, no electrical power is required for operation .

Pressure is set via an integrated, finely adjustable precision spindle pump. The pump features a threaded spindle that moves within the pump body, ensuring no cantilever forces or changes in the instrument's footprint during operation. The high-quality piston/cylinder system maintains stable pressure for several minutes, allowing accurate calibration of devices under test .

Designed for portability with compact dimensions, the CPB3800 uses precisely machined, high-quality materials resulting in excellent long-term stability with a recommended recalibration cycle of five years. Masses are manufactured from stainless steel and aluminum and can be adjusted for local gravity at no additional charge .
