The DH-Budenberg CPB3800HP is a stand-alone, high-pressure primary standard for laboratory or on-site pressure calibrations to 40,000 psi (2600 bar). Featuring high accuracy up to 0.007% of reading, a wide measuring range, and portability, it is an ideal reference instrument for testing, adjusting, and calibrating pressure measuring instruments.

The dual-range piston-cylinder system offers two measuring ranges in one case with automatic range switching from low-pressure to high-pressure pistons. This provides extreme flexibility, covering a wide measuring range with high accuracy using only one piston-cylinder system and one mass set. Two test points can be automatically achieved by loading masses once.

The piston and cylinder are manufactured from hardened steel and tungsten carbide respectively, providing very low pressure and temperature coefficients of expansion, resulting in excellent linearity and accuracy. The design ensures exceptionally low friction force with long free-rotation time and low sink rates.
