The DH-Budenberg CPB5000 is a precision pneumatic deadweight tester ideal for calibrating pressure gauges and sensors up to 400 bar (5000 psi). With a total measurement uncertainty of 0.008% of reading, it serves as a primary standard for factory and calibration laboratories. Its stand-alone design with integrated pressure generation makes it suitable for on-site maintenance and service .

The CPB5000 features a piston and cylinder both manufactured from tungsten carbide, which has very low pressure and thermal expansion coefficients, resulting in excellent linearity and high measurement accuracy. The piston and cylinder are protected within a solid stainless-steel housing. An optional ConTect System allows quick, tool-free replacement of the piston-cylinder assembly for changing measurement ranges .

For easy installation and removal of devices under test, the CPB5000 uses a hand-tightening quick connector. Various adapters are provided to handle most thread types. Three base configurations are available: low pressure with integrated priming pump, high pressure/vacuum for external supply, and with gas-to-oil separator for hydraulic piston-cylinder systems .
