The SITAS 4AM3242-5CT10-0FA0 is the 440V-primary variant of the 63VA SITAS control transformer family. In marine electrical systems, offshore platforms, and industrial facilities in countries where 440V three-phase is the standard distribution voltage (including parts of the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and South America), this transformer derives a safety-isolated 230V single-phase control supply directly from the 440V bus without an intermediate step-down stage.

Voltage Configuration

The ±5% primary tap arrangement provides terminals for 418V, 440V, and 462V — covering the normal voltage variation seen in 440V-nominal distribution systems. The secondary delivers 230V at 0.27A continuous, with 190VA short-time (S6) capacity for the inrush demands of contactor coils and solenoid valves. The II0 vector group with zero shielding provides safety isolation between the line-voltage primary and the control-voltage secondary, meeting the requirements of EN 60204-1 for control circuit separation.

Panel Integration

At 86mm wide and 1.7kg, the transformer mounts via screws to the panel backplate. Screw terminals and flat-blade tabs accommodate standard panel wiring. IP00 enclosure requires installation inside the main cabinet. The 50/60Hz frequency rating means the same part number can be specified for 60Hz marine generators and 50Hz shore supplies. Thermal class B limits continuous operation to 40°C ambient at full load.
