Product Description
The KEDACOM IPC2451 is a 4.0-megapixel network IR bullet camera purpose-built for smart-city mixed pedestrian-vehicle surveillance. It combines a 1/1.8-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor with an embedded deep-learning engine that detects and classifies persons, faces, motor vehicles, and non-motor vehicles, tracking up to 36 targets simultaneously with attribute extraction for direction, speed, and color.
What intelligent detection features does the IPC2451 offer?
The camera's on-board analytics support person and vehicle detection with structured attribute extraction, bidirectional people counting, face enhancement via intelligent exposure control, and no-helmet detection for non-motor-vehicle riders. Smart alarm rules — including motion detection, guard line crossing, area entry/exit, object left/removal, and crowd gathering — can trigger recording or alarm output. All analytics run on-camera without requiring an external server.
How does the camera perform in challenging light and weather?
The 1/1.8-inch sensor achieves 0.005 lux minimum illumination in color mode and 0.0005 lux in black-and-white, backed by a 50 m smart IR illuminator for zero-lux operation. Digital WDR handles strong backlight scenes, while 3D digital noise reduction and digital defog maintain image clarity in low light and haze. The IP67-rated enclosure and −40°C to 70°C operating range enable reliable year-round outdoor deployment.
What video output and integration options are available?
The camera streams H.265, H.264, or MJPEG video at up to 2688×1520 resolution at 30 fps on the main stream, with secondary and tertiary streams configurable at lower resolutions. ONVIF Profile S/G and GB/T 28181 compliance ensure interoperability with third-party VMS platforms. Local recording to a Micro SD card (up to 256 GB) with ANR support provides redundancy during network outages. Power options include 12 VDC, 24 VAC, and PoE (802.3at).
