What access management features does the AC22 provide?

The controller supports up to 1,000 users across 100 access levels and 100 schedules, each with up to 100 time periods. Anti-passback prevents users from tailgating; interlock ensures only one door in a pair opens at a time. Lift/elevator floor control and CCTV/alarm/email integration are built in. How does the power and expansion architecture work?

A universal auto-sensing 120–240 VAC power supply delivers 24 VDC at 3.5 A to the controller, lock outputs (750 mA at 12 VDC each), and connected devices. A rechargeable 12 VDC 7 Ah battery provides backup during mains failure, with programmable charging current (250 mA to 1 A). Two Form C lock relays rated 5 A at 28 VDC switch fail-secure or fail-safe locking hardware. The RS-485 4-conductor expansion bus connects AX22 door expanders up to 1,220 meters away. Ten multi-purpose inputs — expandable to 20 via zone doubling — accept door contacts, request-to-exit, and tamper switches. Auto-recovery fuseless technology on DC outputs resets automatically after fault conditions, eliminating fuse replacement.
