The Taiwan Pulse Motion 102-M1x1 is a single-axis Motionnet slave motion module that plugs onto the most popular servo drives — Delta A2, Mitsubishi J3/4, Yaskawa Sigma, Panasonic A4/5/6 and others. It outputs 6.5 MHz pulses and reads a 28-bit incremental encoder over a 20 Mbps RS-485 Motionnet link.

Why daisy-chain one-axis modules instead of a big central controller?

A central controller runs long wiring to every drive and hits a channel ceiling as the line grows. The 102-M1x1 puts one axis of control right at each drive and links them on a single Motionnet cable, so the network scales by adding a module per axis — and a single cable replaces the point-to-point wiring a multi-axis card would need.
