The Toscano ECO-Pump is a modular digital control panel for single submersible pumps in wells, boreholes, and booster sets. It combines motor protection, level control, and status monitoring in a single IP65-rated enclosure measuring 215 × 235 × 110 mm, with separate cable glands for power, motor, and control wiring.

How does the TPM6 control module operate?

At the core of the ECO-Pump is the TPM6 microprocessor module, which provides a digital display showing real-time motor current, accumulated operating hours, total number of starts, active alarm codes, and programmable restart countdown time. The controller can operate with traditional probes or float switches, or in a sensorless underload-detection mode where it infers dry-running from motor current drop. An external remote on/off input accepts either a voltage-free contact or a 9–24 V AC/DC signal for integration with building management or telemetry systems.

What protections are built into the ECO-Pump?

Motor protection covers overload (current above rated threshold), underload (dry-running when the pump loses prime or the water source is depleted), phase loss on three-phase supplies, and excessive starting frequency to prevent motor overheating from short-cycling. Three separate potential-free signalling outputs — pump running, low level, and general alarm — provide status feedback to remote monitoring panels. A manual forced-start function allows the pump to be operated independently of the level control logic for commissioning and maintenance.
