The AXBB-E from CNC3D is a unique 6-axis CNC motion controller that integrates the motion control and signal breakout functions onto a single board. By connecting directly to a computer's Ethernet port, it avoids the latency and interference issues common with USB-based controllers, offering a more reliable and high-speed connection.

• Control Axes: Up to 6 axes of stepper or servo motors using step/direction signals. (4 axes wired out by default; up to 6 axes possible via software pin reconfiguration).
• Step Frequency: Maximum 400 kHz step pulse rate.
• Isolated I/O: 8 isolated outputs for driving relays, lasers, etc.; 6 high-speed opto-isolated inputs (24V capable).
• Safety Features: 1 isolated "Safety Charge Pump" output for enabling/disabling drives.
• Analog Control: 2 analog input channels for feed/speed override (1k-10k pot). 1 analog output (0-5V or 0-10V jumper selectable) for VFD spindle speed control.

Software & Compatibility

The AXBB-E is designed to work seamlessly with UCCNC control software, supporting G/M code execution, advanced look-ahead, backlash compensation, rigid tapping, and laser/plasma specific macros. It is also compatible with Mach3 and Mach4. A license for UCCNC can be purchased bundled with the controller.
