Product Description

The CSvideo 2M infrared temperature sensor uses both video and laser crosshair sighting to align sensors for accurate temperature measurements of metal or ceramic surfaces in hard-to-reach places. Its short measuring wavelength of 1.6µm reduces errors when measuring surfaces with low or unknown emissivity .

Two models are available: the 2ML covers 482 to 1472°F with 150:1 optical resolution; the 2MH covers 725 to 2912°F with 300:1 optical resolution. Response time is 10ms. Emissivity is adjustable from 0.1 to 1.1 .

The sensor features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. Outputs include 4-20mA analog and alarm output. It can be used in temperatures up to 158°F without additional cooling .

The sensor operates on 5 to 28VDC power supply and is IP65 NEMA-4 front mountable, suitable for vacuum processes up to 10–3mbar. The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download. Cable is sold separately .
