The Yokogawa EY200 Digital Earth Tester uses 3-pole or 2-pole measuring methods. For 3-pole testing, connect the earth electrode (E) and auxiliary spikes (P, C) spaced 5-10 meters apart in a line. The 2-pole method is a simplified alternative when a known earth object (such as a water pipe) is available near the measurement site.

The tester is small, lightweight, and features an IP54 dust and drip proof rating for reliable field use. Earth resistance measurement range is 2000Ω with ±2% accuracy, and earth voltage range is 200V with ±1% accuracy. Operating temperature range is 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C).
