The Fluke 1630-2 FC Earth Ground Clamp measures earth ground loop resistances for multi-grounded systems using the dual-clamp jaw technique. This method eliminates the dangerous and time-consuming process of disconnecting parallel grounds and finding locations for auxiliary test stakes.

A known voltage is induced by the source in the clamp, and current is measured by the sensor, with the tester automatically determining earth loop resistance. Features include Fluke Connect compatibility, selectable band-pass filter, user-defined high/low alarm limits, and data logging up to 32,760 measurements. The clamp is rated for use on insulated conductors only up to 1000 V.
