The AEMC Model 6472 is a portable multi-function ground resistance tester measuring bond resistance, ground resistance (with/without clamps), soil resistivity, earth coupling, and step & touch potential. With the GroundFlex Adapter Model 6474, it also performs power transmission tower leg ground resistance testing.

Auto-ranging from 0.01 to 99.99 kΩ with adjustable test frequency (41-5078 Hz) provides rejection of high interference levels. The tester is CAT IV rated to 50 V and overvoltage protected to >250 V AC. DataView software enables automatic report generation, fall-of-potential plots, and frequency/resistance plots. The instrument stores 512 test results and features optically isolated USB communication. Rechargeable NiMH batteries are included.
