Amprobe 5XP-A compact digital multimeters include all the features and functions needed for a wide range of applications. The meter measures AC voltage to 750 V, DC voltage to 1000 V, AC and DC current to 200 mA, and resistance to 20 MΩ. Measurements are displayed on the 3-1/2 digit LCD. The multimeter also includes unique features such as VolTect non-contact voltage detection and a battery load test with 1.5 V and 9 V capabilities. Additionally, the meter has a continuity beeper, diode test, and overload protection. A non-contact voltage indicator senses voltages from 70 to 600 VAC.

Other features of the Amprobe 5XP-A compact digital multimeter include low battery and overrange indication on the display; automatic polarity determination with indication of negative polarity; and a Min/Max function which records minimum and maximum values.
