Product Description
The Kobold MIK series magneto-inductive flow meter is the perfect solution for measuring the flow of conductive liquids in applications where the reliability and low pressure loss of a magmeter is desired at an economical price. The MIK uses the magneto-inductive principle based on Faraday's law of magnetic induction .
The meter is all solid-state with no moving parts, making it very reliable. Viscous and dirty liquids are measured with no accuracy degradation. Flow ranges cover from 0.18-7.8 GPH up to 9-180 GPM with a basic accuracy of ±2% full scale. The wetted materials are either Ryton with 316L stainless steel electrodes or PVDF with Hastelloy C or tantalum electrodes, suitable for a wide variety of conductive liquids, acids, and caustics .
A wide variety of electronics packages are available, including frequency or current outputs, adjustable flow switches, and integrated totalizers or batch controllers. The versatile design truly makes it a great value at an economical price. Various fitting styles and materials are available, including PVC, PVDF, polypropylene, and stainless steel .
