The KEP BAT D/T-M Millennium (BATDTM) is a battery powered dual totalizer capable of accepting magnetic pickup, DC pulse and switch closure inputs from pulse producing flowmeters. It features 5 digits of resettable total and 8 digits of grand total. A scaled pulse output is standard, and a 4-20mA loop and/or linearization is optional .

The unit offers multiple power options: internal battery, external DC (8.5-30 VDC), or loop-powered via the 4-20mA output. The pulse output advances with the least significant digit of the totalizer or decimal multiples thereof, with selectable pulse duration (0.5, 0.25, 0.125, 0.0625 seconds). Inputs are accepted via magnetic pickup (0-3500 Hz, 10 mV p-p sensitivity), opto-isolated DC pulse (0-5 kHz), or contact closure .

An optional 4-20mA analog output (0.025% full scale accuracy) follows the rate computation and includes selectable damping. The unit can also be equipped with an RS-232 serial setup software option for PC configuration, or an RS-485 Modbus with data logger option that stores daily totals for up to 24 days. The BATDT-M has CSA and UL Class I Division 1 certifications for hazardous locations .
