Product Description
The Extech PRT200 Non-Contact Phase Sequence Tester features an adjustable Hi/Lo LED brightness switch for making measurements in dimly lit areas or direct sunlight. The durable housing includes a back cover magnet for attachment to AC distribution panels, enabling easy hands-free measurement .
The tester operates with input voltage from 75 to 1000V AC and frequency range of 45 to 65Hz. LEDs clearly indicate phase orientation (clockwise or counter-clockwise) and whether each phase is live. A beeper sounds intermittently when correct phase is detected and continuously if phase is reversed, providing clear audible feedback .
Fully insulated alligator clips with wide jaws ensure safe connections, and a low battery warning prevents unexpected failures during use. The tester is safety rated CAT IV-600V for reliable operation in industrial environments .
The complete kit includes three built-in 30-inch test leads with large color-coded alligator clips, four AA batteries, and a pouch case for convenient storage and transport .
