The FLIR VT8 Series multifunction electrical tester features a 15.5mm (0.61in) open-jaw design for measuring AC/DC voltage and current, continuity, resistance, and capacitance in tight spaces and on large-diameter cables. Two models are available: VT8-600 (100A/600V) and VT8-1000 (200A/1000V). Both provide True RMS measurements with ±2.5% AC/DC current accuracy (50-60Hz) and 0.1A resolution. Voltage accuracy is ±1.5% AC (45-66Hz) and ±1.0% DC, both with 0.1V resolution.

Additional capabilities include resistance to 60MΩ (±1.5%), capacitance to 6000µF, continuity check (10-100Ω), and non-contact voltage detection (NCV) with LED/buzzer alerts above 100Vrms. The 6000-count backlit LCD and white LED work lights enable efficient operation in dimly lit areas. Built-in DCA zero and relative mode simplify measurements. Auto power off after 15 minutes preserves battery life. Drop-tested to 2m and backed by a 3-year warranty. Safety rated CAT III-1000V / CAT IV-600V. Includes silicone test leads, carrying pouch, and 2 AA batteries.
