The Sensotec FS012-18 is a high-performance, non-intrusive clamp-on ultrasonic flow switch designed for flow/no-flow detection of liquids in industrial applications. Its clamp-on design allows for easy installation without interrupting the process flow or cutting the pipe, significantly reducing installation time and cost compared to inline flow switches.

The FS012-18 operates on the proven transit time ultrasonic measurement principle, which provides accurate and reliable flow detection for a wide range of clean liquids. It supports bidirectional flow measurement with a velocity range of 0.02 m/s to 12 m/s, and is compatible with pipes ranging from 20 mm to 3000 mm in diameter.

The flow switch is fully field programmable via the built-in 2×20 character backlit LCD display and keypad, allowing users to easily adjust set points, hysteresis, and other parameters without the need for a computer. It provides multiple output options including SPST relay, OCT, 4-20mA analog, and frequency output, making it compatible with most industrial control systems.
