The Honeywell SPM Flex is an extractive gas monitoring system that draws gas samples locally or from a remote point to a Chemcassette tape-based optical detection system. It is designed for detecting ultrasensitive gases used in semiconductor manufacturing and industrial environments, including hydrides, mineral acids, and amines. Chemcassette tape technology provides a physical record of gas presence, preventing costly downtime from false alarms.

The SPM Flex is available in wall-mounted and portable versions. It features a backlit color LCD, 4-button keypad, local audio alarm, and user-configurable outputs. Flexible power and communication options include three on-board relays, 4-20 mA analog output, Modbus/TCP, and a USB port for configuration and data downloads. The unit is IP65 rated for indoor/outdoor use, with automatic flow control and data logging for up to 3 months of rolling data and 1500 event history.
