The Seametrics EX90 Series electromagnetic insertion flow sensor is battery powered and features no moving parts, making it easy to install and maintain. This design makes it ideal for corrosive and dirty applications such as municipal and wastewater treatment, reuse and reclaim water, and cooling and pump towers .

Designed to fit pipe sizes from 4 to 12 inches, the EX90 Series can withstand up to 200 psi (14 bar) and measure flow rates between 0.3 to 4.5 m/sec (1.64 to 14.8 ft/sec). Readings from 0.5 to 4.5 m/sec achieve ±2% of reading accuracy, while a ±(2% of reading + 0.25% of full scale) accuracy is specified for flow rates from 0.3 to 0.5 m/sec. The sensor can measure bidirectional flow, has a user-scalable pulse rate from 0.1 to 99,999.9 volume units/pulse, and includes a rate and total indicator .

Key features include no moving parts, easy installation and maintenance, battery power with a replaceable 7.2V 'D' size battery pack, pulse output standard, and an optional built-in datalogger. The sensor operates in fluid temperatures from 32˚ to 200˚F (0˚ to 93˚C) and carries an IP67 environmental rating .
