The Rosemount Models 389 and 389VP are insertion style pH/ORP sensors with integral preamp. Both are combination sensors (pH, reference, and temperature within sensor body) for measuring aqueous solutions in pipelines, open tanks, or ponds. Compatible with Rosemount Analytical and other manufacturers’ instruments.

Housed in molded Tefzel body with Viton o‑rings for chemical resistance. Simplified construction requires no electrolyte replenishment. Model 389 features integral cable; Model 389VP offers watertight Variopol VP connector eliminating rewiring and cable twisting. Triple junction reference protects against harsh elements and prolongs sensor life. 1″ MNPT front and rear threads for insertion, submersion, or flow‑through mounting.

Integral or remote preamplifier options with transmission capability up to three miles. Suitable for virtually all applications.
