5UB1403 vs 5UB1405 — how to choose?

Both are DELTA profil Type F SCHUKO sockets in titanium white with screwless plug-in terminals and 65x65mm plates. The 5UB1403 has standard contact geometry; the 5UB1405 has increased touch protection. If the building code or project specification does not mandate increased touch protection, the 5UB1403 is sufficient and slightly cheaper. If the installation is in a public or child-accessible area, the 5UB1405 is the code-compliant choice. The two are mechanically interchangeable — same frame, same box, same wiring method.
