The Extech PRC15 is a handheld current and voltage calibrator designed for process device calibration and simulation. The palm-sized instrument features double-molded housing and a large dot-matrix digital backlit LCD for clear visibility in various working conditions .

The PRC15 sources and measures 0-24mA current (-25 to 125%) with 0.01% ±1 digit accuracy, and sources and measures 0 to 20V DC. It features up to five user-adjustable calibration presets for quick recall of frequently used values, streamlining calibration procedures .

The instrument includes standard banana I/O ports for easy connection, and features a large battery bank (six AA batteries) for extended work cycles. An external power adapter is included for continuous operation in bench applications. The 24V loop power capability makes it suitable for powering and testing 2-wire transmitters .
