Product Description

The Dwyer AVUL Series air velocity transmitter is designed to measure air velocity or volumetric flow of clean air and non-combustible, compatible gases—making it suitable for various industrial and HVAC applications. A key advantage of AVUL models is their simultaneous current (4 to 20 mA) and voltage (0 to 5 VDC/0 to 10 VDC) outputs, which provide universal inputs to most monitoring equipment. Users can easily configure the output range, measurement units, and 0 to 5/10 VDC output via local DIP switches, while zero and span adjustments are simplified through digital push buttons.

Dwyer AVUL Series transmitters come with a standard accuracy of ±(5% of reading + 0.2 m/s), with an optional upgrade to ±(3% of reading + 0.2 m/s) for higher precision needs. For local monitoring and configuration convenience, an optional integral 5-digit LCD display is available. Additionally, optional communication protocols—BACnet MS/TP or Modbus® RTU/ASCII—allow multiple units to be daisy-chained, enabling access to comprehensive data (including air velocity, flow, and air temperature) for centralized monitoring and control.
