The Badger Meter M7600 Electromagnetic Flow Meter combines advanced electromagnetic flow metering technology with a simple, robust output for batching systems found in industrial applications. The M7600 meters can accurately measure and control most batching needs in the industrial market. Its completely open cross-section flow tube design with no moving parts makes it ideal for batching a wide range of industrial conductive fluids .

Unlike other metering technologies hindered by suspended solids, the M7600 continues to measure flow provided the conductivity remains higher than 5 micromhos/cm. The non-obstructive flow-through pipe design allows particulates to pass through the meter body. The signal voltage, measured by the electrodes, passes through the entire cross-sectional profile for improved accuracy .

The meter features an intuitive PC interface used for selecting scale factor, unit of measure, and pulses per unit. The pulsed DC magnetic field provides zero point stability. Empty pipe detection stops measuring flow and sends out an error message when an electrode is not covered by fluid for five seconds .

The M7600 is suitable for water, wastewater, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, and concrete applications. It features a compact, self-contained design with the amplifier mounted directly on the detector, minimizing installation wiring .
