The ServoControl SCM is the servo-motor control unit in GÜNTHER's hot runner control technology range, purpose-built to drive 2 to 16 servo needles in the ANES multi-drop sliding mechanism for valve gate injection moulding. It replaces the stepper-motor-driven SCE variant where higher precision, speed, and dynamic response are required.

How does the SCM communicate with the injection moulding machine?

The SCM features freely programmable digital inputs and outputs that allow it to exchange start, stop, and position signals directly with the injection moulding machine control system. It can be integrated into the machine's emergency stop circuit for safe operation.

What does the touchscreen interface offer?

The colour touchscreen provides clear menu navigation for setting needle positions, motion profiles, and sequence timing. Three user levels with graduated permissions protect critical parameters from unauthorised changes. Up to 50 complete mould data sets can be stored and transferred between SCM units via the integrated USB interface.
