Two ceilings, one drive

The 3 kW FSB is the last G115D cooled by natural convection. Every drive above it — 4 kW through 7.5 kW — requires an integrated fan. The PROFINET interface (AF0 suffix) means this drive is not an isolated motor controller but a networked asset: the PLC reads speed, current, DC-link voltage, and heatsink temperature in real time via PROFIdrive. For a 3 kW conveyor section that is the pacing section for its zone, this diagnostic visibility is not a luxury — it is the difference between knowing why the line stopped and walking the line to find out.

1XH63 AF0 — the drive that closes the visibility gap

Without PROFINET, the 3 kW mid-power drives are the blind spots in a conveyor network — large enough to stop the line when they trip, too small to have been traditionally networked. The AF0 interface eliminates that gap. This drive reports its status alongside the 7.5 kW main drive and the 0.37 kW feeder drive, giving the SCADA system complete coverage of every drive on the line. And it does so while running silently, without a fan, drawing approximately 250 mA from the 24 V DC rail.
