Product Description
The Honeywell E³Point is a versatile gas detector designed to monitor and control toxic and combustible gases in commercial applications such as parking garages, mechanical rooms, and loading docks. It utilizes reliable electrochemical and catalytic bead sensor technology with self-testing diagnostics to reduce false alarms.
The E³Point uses plug-and-play sensor cartridges that are pre-calibrated at the factory, allowing for quick and easy exchange in the field without the need for recalibration. Gas concentration values, sensor data, and other diagnostic information are displayed on the main unit's LCD. The detector features an audible alarm greater than 85 dBA at 3m (10 ft) and activates two on-board relays to control external devices like horns, strobes, or fans.
The detector is available in both wall-mount and duct-mount models. It can be configured as a standalone device with single or dual-gas monitoring (via a remote sensor) or as part of a fully addressable, networked system. In a networked configuration, up to 96 E³Point units can be daisy-chained on a Honeywell Vulcain 301C Controller and integrated with a building automation system using protocols such as Modbus or BACnet. This allows for integration with fire, security, and HVAC networks to improve energy efficiency and safety.
