Thermal shutdown protects against overheating under sustained high load. The MCM accepts standard PWM, direction, and enable inputs from a host microcontroller or PLC. The adjustable PWM frequency range of 1–20 kHz allows optimisation between switching losses and audible noise. Onboard features include a rotation counter for position or speed feedback, and configurable braking — the motor can be braked to V+ (high-side) or GND (low-side) depending on the application's deceleration requirements.
