Sensorless Field-Oriented Control (FOC) with MOTOVARIO's Vectorial Check algorithm maintains constant motor torque over a wide frequency range without requiring servo-ventilation at low rpm. The drive auto-tunes to the connected load, adapting dynamics on the fly. Flying motor restart capability calculates the correct voltage and frequency to re-engage a coasting motor without tripping — critical for fan and pump applications subject to draft or backflow.

What communication and configuration options are included?

Modbus RTU and CANopen DSP are standard on-board, with Profibus DPV1 available as an option. A built-in USB port connects to MOTOVARIO's PC software for configuration, monitoring, and oscilloscope-style diagnostics.
