The MM003AT/21-22 is an ultra-compact stepper motor driver from Micro Motors s.r.l. (Micromotors), designed for use with SM-series miniature stepper gearmotors in space-constrained motion control applications. Measuring just 33 × 33 × 14 mm and weighing 10 g, it provides versatile control through six DIP-switch-selectable operating programs covering true stepper and emulated DC brush motor modes.

What control modes are available?

The driver offers six programs: true step/direction control (Program 3) using 5–30V step pulses with CW/CCW direction input, and five brush motor simulation modes (Programs 1–2, 4–6) supporting fixed direction or speed control via 1–5V, 2–10V, or 4–20 mA analogue inputs. An onboard trimmer adjusts acceleration/deceleration ramps. The 4-way DIP switch also sets the maximum output current at 160 mA or 330 mA to match motor requirements. Screw terminal connections simplify wiring for power, step, direction, and speed reference signals.
