What gases does the Ax60+ detect?

How does the alarm system protect personnel?

Each alarm unit combines a white LED strobe (>100 cd) with an ≥80 dBA sounder, both housed in an IP55-rated enclosure. The system supports multi-level alarm thresholds: a Time-Weighted Average (TWA) alert at 0.5% CO₂ for long-term exposure, escalating through high and high-high alarms with increasing strobe flash rates and audible warnings. O₂ alarms monitor both depletion (below 19.5%) and enrichment (above 23.0%), covering the full risk spectrum for confined-space atmospheres.

How does the Ax60+ integrate with a BMS or control panel?

An optional Data Output Module (DOM) provides four independent 4-20mA analog outputs scaled to each sensor's measurement range, plus a Modbus RTU digital interface. This allows the Ax60+ to feed gas concentration data directly into a building management system, PLC, or central monitoring panel. The central display also includes two configurable relay outputs (250V AC / 30V DC, 3A) for direct equipment interlock or external alarm escalation.

What installation options are available?

The Ax60+ offers two wiring configurations: Quick Connect (QC) uses pre-terminated Cat5e cables with colour-coded RJ45 connectors for plug-and-play installation, while Hard Wired (HW) allows cabling to be integrated into the building fabric. A compact Kiosk variant (Ax60K) packages a CO₂ sensor, alarm, and power supply into a single unit without a central display, suitable for single-point monitoring in small spaces.
