The RKI GD-70D is an intelligent gas detector that monitors combustibles, O2, and a wide range of toxic gases. Its universal base unit accepts plug-and-play smart sensors that retain all calibration and sensor-specific data, allowing hot-swapping in the field without programming. The detector features a large LCD with a tri-color bar graph for visual alarm notification, programmable low/high alarm relays, and a fault relay.

Automatic zero and span drift correction minimizes maintenance and maximizes reliability. The GD-70D can be used as a stand-alone device or integrated with RKI’s Beacon series controllers and PLC systems via multiple communication protocols (4-20 mA, NT, PoE, Modbus, LonWorks). Front-access design allows easy sensor and pump replacement without tools. It is suitable for applications requiring flexible gas detection with minimal maintenance.
