Product Description

The RKI Instruments AirLink 9850 is a wireless receiver designed to interface wireless gas detection systems with existing plant infrastructure. It is capable of monitoring up to 255 wireless addresses and converting the received signals to a Modbus output via RS-232 or RS-485, allowing for seamless integration with an existing PLC, computer, or SCADA system.

The receiver offers multiple digital output options for flexible connectivity. These include a USB virtual COM port for direct PC connection, an Ethernet-to-Website interface for network-based monitoring, and standard RS-232 or RS-485 Modbus outputs. If analog output is required, an optional Analog Card is available that provides 4-20mA output for up to 32 wireless sensors, available in configurations of 8, 16, 24, or 32 channels.

The AirLink 9850 features a graphical LCD with LED backlight, a 4-button interface for local interaction, and status LEDs for power and fault indication. It operates on 12 to 35V DC (with an optional AC power supply) and can function in a wide temperature range from -40° to 70°C (-40° to 158°F). It supports radio frequencies of 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz.
