The LDetek LD8001 is an online trace nitrogen analyzer specifically designed to monitor trace N2 in Argon, Helium, and Crude argon. It utilizes a plasma emission detector (PED) to selectively measure trace nitrogen in these bulk gases. The analysis of trace N2 in neon, xenon, and krypton can also be realized, making it suitable for specialty gas applications.

The LD8001 is housed in a compact 3U rackmount enclosure, ideal for integration into analytical systems. It features a micro-valve design for very low dead volume and fast purging time, contributing to efficient operation. The analyzer offers a large-scale measurement capability with standard 4-20 mA outputs for each range.

Key specifications include selectable ranges for N2: 0-1 ppm with 10 ppb resolution, 0-10 ppm with 0.1 ppm resolution, and 0-100 ppm with 1 ppm resolution. It exhibits excellent stability with less than ±1% drift.
