The 6SL3520-1XM02-2AB0 delivers 2.2 kW in the G115D FSB frame with the AB-suffix enhanced I/O — the mid-tier fanless 2.2 kW configuration for decentralized drives that need more than base I/O but do not require PROFINET. Electrically identical to the 2AF0 at 5.9 A continuous (11.8 A peak), it provides the same motor control performance with expanded hardwired connectivity. The 1XM FSB enclosure (425 × 240 × 134 mm) mounts directly on the machine frame with IP65/IP66 protection and passive cooling.

The AB enhanced configuration adds digital and analog I/O channels plus an additional STO interface beyond the AA base variant — suited for decentralized stations where sensors, actuators, and safety devices wire directly to the drive rather than routing through a remote I/O block. The fanless design eliminates fan maintenance and noise — the 134 mm deep FSB enclosure dissipates 2.2 kW of drive losses passively through the housing surface.
