The Celmi TDSC-PAN is a digital weight indicator-controller that converts signals from up to four strain-gauge load cells into high-resolution weight readings via a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter. What control and communication options does it provide?

The TDSC-PAN outputs weight data through three channels simultaneously: an isolated 4–20 mA analog output for PLC or DCS integration, RS485 Modbus RTU for digital communication with SCADA or control systems, and optional RS232 for direct printer connection. Three configurable relay outputs provide high/low level alarms or setpoint-based control. Two optically isolated digital inputs accept external triggers such as tare, zero, or print commands.

How does the twin configuration mode work?

In Software Mode 1 (TWIN CONFIGURATION), two TDSC-PAN units are interconnected via RS422 to operate as a synchronized pair — useful for dual-hoist lifting systems where loads on two independent cables must be monitored simultaneously. The system displays individual weight per unit or the combined total, with unified alarm management across all six relays (3+3) for coordinated overload protection.
