The Dahua ARC3000H-FW2(868) is a wireless alarm hub controller operating on the 868 MHz frequency band. It serves as the central control panel for intrusion alarm systems, managing up to 150 wireless peripherals including 64 keyfobs, 6 sirens, 8 keypads, 8 PIR cameras and 4 repeaters. With two-way AES128 encrypted communication and frequency hopping, it provides secure, interference-resistant wireless coverage up to 2,000 metres in open space.

Multi-Channel Connectivity

The hub connects to monitoring centres and mobile users through three parallel network paths: wired Ethernet (RJ-45 10/100 Mbps), Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz), and cellular with dual SIM single standby (4G LTE, 3G WCDMA, 2G GSM). This triple-path redundancy ensures alarm events reach the monitoring station even if one network link fails — meeting EN 50136-2 ATS category SP2/DP2 requirements for alarm transmission.

Alarm Processing and Notification

The ARC3000H-FW2(868) processes alarm events locally and pushes notifications via SMS and voice call to up to 5 phone numbers each. Through the DMSS mobile app, users receive video-linked alarms — when a sensor triggers, the app pulls live or recorded footage from up to 4 connected IP cameras. The hub stores up to 5,000 event log entries locally with power-failure-protected non-volatile memory, and supports cloud-based remote firmware upgrades with automatic recovery.

Installation and Environment

Compact at 163 × 163 × 32 mm and 0.38 kg, the hub installs on a wall or desktop indoors. The single multi-status LED indicates alarm, arming, disarming, network and fault states. Operating range is -10°C to +50°C with 10% to 90% RH humidity tolerance. The built-in lithium battery provides up to 12 hours of standby operation during mains failure, with low-battery alert notification. The housing is PC+ABS with tamper detection.
