The CSC-20 YUGO is a decentralised CO2 ventilation controller by Fluid.iO that packs gas sensing and actuator switching into a single wall-mounted unit. Instead of wiring separate CO2 sensors, controllers, and relays, the YUGO reads ambient CO2 via its integrated NDIR sensor every second and directly switches the ventilation hardware — fans, dampers, or window openers — when thresholds are crossed. No central BMS required.

What actuator types can the CSC-20 YUGO control?

Six pre-configured programs cover the most common ventilation setups. Program 1 switches a single-stage 230V fan. Program 2 drives a two-stage fan. Program 3 operates a motorised window opener or flap actuator. Program 4 combines a single-stage fan with a window opener. Programs 5 and 6 use a 0–10V output for speed-controlled EC motors — with or without a parallel window opener. Each output channel handles up to 500 W, and supply and exhaust elements are wired to separate terminals.

How does the automatic ventilation logic work?

The controller runs in automatic mode with configurable hysteresis. Default thresholds switch ventilation on at 900 ppm CO2 and off at 500 ppm — both adjustable anywhere in the 300–10,000 ppm range. For two-stage fans, a second threshold (default 2,000 ppm) engages the higher speed. A real-time clock enables scheduled active and passive periods. If the sensor faults, the unit enters error mode and safely switches all actuators off. Manual override and pause modes are available from the four-button interface, with current CO2 readings and switching states shown on the integrated display.
